Know all men by these presents that William Hayes of the County of Randolph in the
State of Illinois for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty three dollars
to me in hand paid by Seth Fulton and Isaiah Fulton of Peoria County Said State the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have and do by these presents for myself, my
heirs, executors and administrators & Assigns, ?? (two illegible words) and forever
discharge the said Seth Fulton & Isaiah Fulton their heirs executors and administrators of
and from all debts, dues, demands, bonds, notes, accounts, (?) and causes of action which
I now have in law or equity, or which may result from the existing State of things from
any and all contracts, liabilities, (?) and (?) from the beginning of the world to this day and
particular to any claim or demand which I have (?) have against the said Seth & Isaiah
Fulton by (?) and on account of a certain judgement obtained by me in the Circuit Court of
Peoria County aforesaid on the 16th day of May in the year eighteen hundred and thirty
eight for the sum of two hundred and thirty dollars and eight cents damages and nine
dollars and thirty seven cents (?) against the said Seth, Isaiah Fulton as by the records and
proceedings of said court in that behalf appear. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my
hand and seal this___________day of February AD 1841

day of the date hereof personally appeared before me William Hays to me himself
known to be the real person whose name appears (?) to the foregoing instrument of writing
