Solid Waste Transfer Stations
Appendices E, F & G
Concrete push walls and sturdy construction are needed at solid waste transfer stations. High
ceilings allow for the opening of compactor trucks and dump beds within the containment of the
building. This construction is at the new Tazewell Transfer Station, set to open in late 2007.
