MISSION-SPECIFIC INSTITUTIONAL INDICATORS
The mission-specific indicators serve to highlight the distinctive and unique contributions of each institution and the sector to Illinois’ higher education system. Colleges are not required to identify a certain number of mission-specific indicators or identify indicators for every goal of The Illinois Commitment. Exhibit 34 provides a snapshot of the types of mission-specific indicators selected by Illinois community college districts.3 (Appendix B provides the mission statement for each community college as well as the corresponding district number.)
