The 'Bookworm' was the Towanda Township Library's entry in the 1976 parade and featured a long 'worm' carried by the Junior Friends of the Library. The 'worm' is shown with the designer Sybil Campbell on the right next to head librarian Eleanor Hensley and Gail Ann Briggs, library volunteer, on the left.
