On Monday, June 27, 1%0, 230 youngsters registered for the Graf¬ ton Park Swimming lessons. Of ) his number, 170 are from Huntley, 40 are from Crystal Lake, and the remaining 20 were from other than Orafton township. The classes were each devided into three sec¬ tions beginning with intermediate, nnd advancing to the ability of the individual child.

All the sights, sounds and thrills of Circus Day, which comes but once a year, will be present in Huntley on Wednesday, July 6, when the Adams & Sells 3 Ring Circus comes to town for one day only with two full and complete performances at 2:30 and 8:00 on the Circus grounds at Highway 47 and Algonquin Road.

Next Sunday, July 3, Mr. M. E. Gahan, superintendent of schools, will have charge of the services of the Woodstock First M. E. Church for Dr. Steuart White. The ser¬ mon subject will be: "Peace in a Peaceless World."
Sunday, July 31, Mr. Gahan will deliver the sermon at the Wood¬ stock First Baptist Church.
During the month of August, Dr. Fetz, Minister of the First M. E. Church in Dundee, has asked Mr. Gahan to take charge of the Sunday services.

Monday evening, June 27, the American Legion held a meeting at which new officers were elected for next year. The Commander is George Willis, Sr. Vice Command¬ er, Norm. Zimmerman, Jr. Vice Commander, Stan Koch, Finance Officer, Chas. Scherer, Sgt. at Arms, M. Wiley Jr., Chaplain. M. E. Gahan, superindendent of schools, who is also technically an ordained minister.
