Peggy Lind: Peggy Lind has been named September student of the month at Graham Hospital School of Nursing. A senior, she lives in Canton with her three children and grandchild. According to the hospital, she has maintained an excellent scholastic record and manages to balance raising an extended family, a part-time job, and her school work successfully. Along with academic achievements, Lind is active in school activities. She has been class treasurer three years, secretary of the Student Senate, and a member of the Library Committee her junior year. When thinking of her past two years at Graham, she said, “Through the individual attention given to each student, I feel a though my education has been strengthened. The teaching staff really cares about the student and her progress. I would encourage those who are considering a career in nursing to attend Graham because of its high academic standing, the dedication of its teachers, and the close friendships you develop with your classmates.” After graduation, Lind would like to work as a pediatric nurse and study for a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
