Val Nadrasky. pictured above at a screw cutting lathe, is now engaged in war work at a defense plant. She was photographed last week while receiving her training at Proviso high school. Here men and women are acquiring skills in machine shop techniques, qualifying them for work in defense factories. L S. Bracewell is instructor of the course, open to all villagers.
