SOMETHING NEW in the line of pets is being displayed by Arthur "Buddie" Derckum, 605 South 10th avenue, Maywood, who is the envy of all the kids with his two pet ducks. He received the ducks at Easter when they were tiny ducklings, and has raised them as pets since then. The ducks follow him obediently, run at his command, and cuddle close to him to be petted. "Buddie" and his two ducks panicked traffic on 5th avenue last week when he took them out for a stroll and they followed along, quacking their comments at pedestrians and motorists alike. One of tha ducks is named "Tootsie" and the other is named "Bummie" because of his bumming tendencies.
