ON FATHER'S DAY, Sunday, June 18, fathers everywhere, in war plants and on fighting fronts, will stay on the job
—their job. Daniel F. Boni (above), 52, of 1416 Broadway, Melrose Park, operates a milling machine at Buick Motor
Division's bomber engine plant while he hopes for good news from two of his sons who are members of the armed
forces. One, a member of the old Maywood Tank Corps, has been a Japanese prisoner since the fall of Bataan. An-
other is a bombardier In New Guinea, and a third son attends high school. Aside from his dally tasks at his war
job, Mr. Boni contributes much of his time to furthering the progress of the war, At present, he Is serving as a U. S.
Treasury Department captain in the Fifth War Loan drive now in progress at'his plant. Mr. Boni is a widower.
