FUN ON WHEELS—Miss Elaine Lang of 1928 South 3rd avenue, Maywod, an ardent follower of a revived indoor sport—roller skating—is shown just before "taking off." The attractive young skater is typical of the girls and boys in Maywood, Melrose Park, Bellwood and Forest Park who have organized skating clubs at nearby rinks. Like ice skating, this fun on wheels is proving more popular as an ideal recreation and mixer for young people. Out- of-town service men who have been guests of families here have shown a desire to roller skate, having heard from their suburban buddies at camp.
