LEADOFF MAN—Rodney Rosewall, Proviso slugger and right fielder, shows how he'll face the apple Friday when the high school team meets Waukegan here. Coach D. B. Appleton's varsity men have defeated Wheaton, Austin, leading City leaguers, Evanston and Morton, last year's champions. A monopoly on the baseball situation has been enjoyed by Proviso and Morton since the formation of the Suburban league. Proviso has won the title for five years, Morton four. Much of this season's success depends on Lee Kolwitz, Proviso hurler.
