Youth Holding Sub Sale
A November 2-3 "Sub Sandwich Sale" is being held by senior high youth at the First Congregational Church to raise funds for next summer's Youth Habitat Workcamp.

The Huntley Lions Club will host their annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, November 3, from 8am-noon at the HunUey Legion,
The Breakfast also includes: eggs, sausage, juice, milk, and coffee. There is a fee for the all you can eat breakfast. The Huntiey Legion is located on the comer of Woodstock St. and Coral St. across fi-om the Post Office.
Taste of Trinity Soup and Salad Luncheon
The Trinity Lutiieran Church of Huntley will be having its annual Soup and Salad Luncheon on Thursday, November 7. The serving time will be from 11am- 2pm. McCare Night to Benefit Huntley Volleyball
The McDonalds in Algonquin will host McDonalds Huntiey Volleyball McCare Night on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 5-8pm. A portion of all the proceeds during that time will go to the Huntiey Volleyball team. McDonalds is located al Algonquin and Randall Roads (in the Jewel shopping plaza) in Algonquin.

Charlie Becker Illinois Master Gardener Award Winner
Charlie Becker was recently named an Illinois Master Gardner by the U of I Cooperative Extension Service. Pictured above, left to right, Werner Heidtke of Harvard representing the Extension Service, Charlie Becker, and Colleen Nelson of McHenry, Past Chairman of McHenry County Master Gardeners.
