Marquis, Ruth To Perform With Donny Osmond
On March 25, Jeannette Marquis and Anthony Ruth will begin performing at the Chicago Theater as part of the cast of "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," starring Donny Osmond.
Jeannette was cast from the Elgin Children's Choir and Anthony from the Barrington Children's Choir. Members of the chorus rehearse six days a week at Second City Ballet in Chicago. The children will
appear in four performances a week until July 9. They will be on stage for 2pm and 7;30pm perfromances each Wednesday and 2pm and 7pm performances each Sunday. For 80% of the time, the choristers are on stage singing as well as dancing to rap, rock, country and calypso music.
Jeannette is the daughter of Tom and Jeanie Marquis of Huntley, and is a 4th grade student in Huntley school.
Anthony is the'grandson of Mildred Ruth and Duke and Mary Manning of Huntley, and a 7th grade student at St. Ann's School in Barrington.
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is a joyous fun-filled retelling of the familiar Biblical story of Joseph and his eleven brothers at the time of the Pharaoh. Tickets are available through Ticket Master at 312-902-1500.
Huntley Jaycees Raise Funds For Abdullai Family
The Huntley Jaycees were able to raise over $1,400 in the fundraiser for the Abdullai family. The Jaycees would like to thank all of the people who were involved in the fundraiser. They offer a special thanks to Bowl-Hi Lanes, State Bank of Huntley, Huntley Dairy Mart, Northwest
Truck & Auto/NAPA, Video Smideo, Huntley Supermarket, P.R. Parrots, Huntley Country Store, AT&T, Parkside Tap, Papa G's, Alexander Lumber, Cathy Homan, Steve and Cathy DeQuaker, Denise Swanson, Grandma's Kitchen, Terry Banksen, Tom Bass, Doug Clavey
and Laraine Smith.
Also, Friday night, Feb. 18, the Huntley Jaycees will host the finals for the Karoke Singoff at Bowl-Hi Lanes at 7pm. If you would like a chance at the grand prize of $200, come sing between 7-8pm to make the finals.
New Support Group Begins l\/leeting In Huntley
A new support group for women with silicone breast, implants has formed in Huntley. Its first meeting will happen this Monday night, February 21st, at 7pm in the Huntley Library.
The purpose of the group is
to offer emotional support as well as the most recent events taking place in the fields of medicine and litigation. The group plans to have guest speakers such as doctors and attorneys addressing such subjects as
the latest procedures for explantation and patients' rights.
The group plans to meet the third Monday of each month at 7pm in Huntley Library. For more information contact Caroline Haney at 669-0803.
Huntley Ace Hardware manager, Roger Henderson, was elected the new Huntley Jaycees President on February 1, 1994.

The Huntley Jaycees are proud to announce the election of a new president. On Tuesday evening, Feb. 1, 1994, the Huntley Jaycees elected Roger Henderson, as president of the local chapter."
Roger and his lovely wife, Christy, have been residents of Huntley for two years. You may know him better as your "Helpful Hardware Man." Roger is the store manager at the Huntley Ace Hardware.
The chapter is looking forward to a lot of great ideas under Roger's leader¬ ship. He has demonstrated a lot of sensational leadership as the executive vice president, and promises to fascinate the community throughout his term as president.
Roger, congratulations on your new position as president of the Huntley Jaycees!
Huntley Village Board Considers l\/lunicipal Expansion, TIF 11, MZ Rezoning
The Jan. 27, 1994 regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held in the board room of the Village Hall and called to order by President Dhamer at 7:03pm.
Roll noted the following present; President Dhamer, Trustees Becker, Borowicz, Eckel, Shamhart, Sheehan and Todd. Also attending were Administrator iNelis, Police Chief Rossi (arrived at 7:45pm). Public Works Director Schwartz (arrived at 7:07pm), Building Inspector Ehrke, Village Engineer Schwegel, and Village Attorney Kukla (arrived at 7:I0pm). Minutes
President Dhamer asked that the minutes from the Jan. 13, 1994 regular board meeting be reviewed and approved. Trustee Shamhart made the motion to
approve the minutes; seconded by Trustee Borowicz. The voice vote noted all ayes except for Trustee Sheehan who abstained. The motion carried. Municipal Expansion Project Bill Brown distributed the plans for the new municipal building. During the review of the plans. Trustee Eckel asked for an estimate of the projected costs. Mr. Brown said he did not have that figure. Building Inspector Ehrke stated that these plans were distributed only for the board's review at this time. Mr. Brown stated that he planned for the board to accept the concept of these construction drawings with minimum change requirements. Trustee Shamhart made a motion to accept the plans for the thunicipal expansion project
dated Jan. 27, 1994 and for the plans to be put out to bid. During the vote Trustee Todd stated that he wanted the village to get costs before voting. The roll call noted the following: Trustees Becker, Borowicz, Shamhart and Sheehan voted aye and Trustees Eckel and Todd voted nay. Fhe motion carried.
The discussion continued regarding the plans and Trustee Sheehan made a motion to rescind the previous motion to accept the plans for the municipal expansion project dated Jan. 27, 1994 and it was seconded by Trustee Eckel. The roll call noted the following: Trustees Eckel, Sheehan and Todd voted aye and Trustees Becker, Borowicz and Shamhart voted nay. President Dhamer voted nay tp break the tie and
the motion failed.
Trustee Borowicz requested that the bids be opened at a future Committee of the Whole meeting.
Audit Presentation
President Dhamer stated that the person who was to give a presentation on the audit was not present but the board reviewed the information and Trustee Eckel made a motion to accept the audit; seconded by Trustee Borowicz. The voice vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.
Mayor's Report: Mill Street Water Main Replacement
President Dhamer stated that the project was complete and that a request for final payment was requested. Trustee Sheehan questioned the $120.00 charge and Engineer Schwegel stated it was due to a
difference in pipe to be used and curb replacement. Trustee Borowicz asked if they replaced the concrete that was taken out with asphalt and it was. Trustee Todd made a motion to table the Mill St. Water Main Replacement's final payment request until the Feb. 10, 1994 meeting. It was seconded by Trustee Borowicz. The voice vote noted all ayes and the motion carried.
Dean Foods
President Dhamer stated that he received a letter from Dean Foods stating that they will be moving the mobile trailer that is adjacent to the maintenance facility within the next 90 days.
