David, Ruth & Jim Bond at the completed Bob Bond Fountain Memorial.
During the Bummer a beautiful drinking fountain and benches were installed in Deicke Park by the family of Bob Bond in his memory. Bob enjoyed playing basketball in the park and had commented that it was too bad that the players had to go so far to
Che nearest hydrant to get a drink, so his family decided this was a Htting memorial. The Board of Commissioners of the Huntley Park District agreed and gratefully accepted the fountain. Bob's parents are Jim and Ruth Bond and brother David.
