Laura Kohley took her turn announcing the "Royal" news.
The Park District sponsored Television Production Workshop, taught by Mr. Wayne Blake, brought the excitement of a TV studio to summer vacation the week of Aug. 6-9 for students Brian Hoist, Laura Kohley, Peter Liput, Steve Martain, Jim Origer and Ryan Parker. Each participant wrote, directed, performed and operated equipment and will get a tape of all their productions. Mr. Blake is arranging with the cable station to show the tape on their school production channel at a later date.
Class Of 1985 Reunion
The Huntley High School Class of 1985 held a 5th reunion June 2nd at Deicke Park. Out of a class of 35 there were 17 in attendance with their families. A lot of catching up was done by (back row) Ken Micheleb, Jackie Freund, Russ Ahrens, Todd Freeberg, Jon Wulf (middle row) Debbie (Wiesmeth) Johnson, Ted Manning, Paul Manning, Joe Korotsz, (front Tow) Sandy (Bale) Drafall, Jennifer Massett, Lisa (Albrecht) Fitzgerald, DeeAna Lunaburg, Janet Hansen and (not pictured) Ron Smith and Ann Mueller.

The Grafton Township Food Pantry has now been open a little over two months. Since opening at the beginning of June, it has served over 30 people. Grafton residents, who qualify based on their income, are allowed to pick up food commodities once a month.
Government commodities; such as butter, flour, cornmeal, honey, peanut butter, beans and canned pork
are picked up every two months from a distribution center in Woodstock. All other canned goods are donations from various local organizations and churches.
A sizable donation of canned goods was made by the First Congregational Church collected duriftg their Vacation Bible Week in July. Also a $200.00 donation of groceries was made by the Lutheran Brotherhood. The Huntley Lioness collect food
each week at bingo to help the pantry. The Huntley Boy Scouts held a food drive in the spring to help stock the shelves.

Open House
All adult students (over the age of 24) who have registered for fall classes at McHenry County College are invited to an open house on Wed., August 22 from 7-9 p.m. in the MCC cafeteria. The open house is an opportunity
