Last Sahirday, March 14, the Huntley Lion's Qub held their annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner-Dance to a large crowd. The "Irish for a Day" chefs. Bill Galanis and Dennis Rudsinski. made a scrumptious meal fit for Irish palate. Before the evening had ended the corned beef ran out. Several Lion's also gave lessons in how to do the Irish Jig during the dancing segment of the evening. It was

HYDRANTS TO BE FLUSHED
Jim Schultz, in charge of Streets for the ViUage, announ¬ ced that Huntley Rre Hydrants will be flushed on March 24 & 25.
Candidates for the April 7th election are invited to attend the Senior Citizen Meeting on March 27th. A pot luck will be served at 12:30 and candidates are invited to participate. Although there will not be time allotted for speeches all visitors will be introduced individually. If you plan to come for the pot luck please call Louise Kreutzer or Lucille Thurow.
eth GRADERS TO HOLD RUMMAGE SALE
The 6th Grade Class is planning to attend a 3 day Outdoor Education Camp in New Milford, Illinois as part of their stildies of outdoor life. In order to raise money for this trip, the students are holding a Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 2 at the American Legion Hall.
When you do your Spring cleaning, put aside any items you no longer n^ed or want and please donate them to this very worthwhile cause. No item is too large or too small. Fumiture, knick knacks, toys and clothing are all needed to make this sale a success.
For storage and pick up of any item, please call Mrs. Hansman at 669-5647 or Mrs. Wiesneth at 669-5567.

SCHOOL B(3ARD MEETING
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158, Huntley Consoli¬ dated Schools, Huntley, Ulinois, was held in the High School building on March 10, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. This being the meeting of March 12, resche¬ duled to this date.
The President called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. Upon roll call the following members answered present: Mrs. Basel, Mrs. Livingston, Mr. Grismer, Mr. Spears, Mr. Reid, and Mr. Zirk. Absent: Mr. Pupich.
All present joined in the Pledge to the Flag.
Mr. Spears moved Mr. Grismer 2nd to approve the minutes of the February 26 regular meeting as written. The motion carried 6 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Pupich joined the meeting at 7:34 P.M.
Mrs. Basel moved Mr. Reid 2nd to approved payment of the agenda of bills. The motion carried with 7 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Zirk moved Mr. Reid 2nd to reimburse Imprest Fund for total expenditures the sum of $1,126.10. The motion carried with 7 yeas and 0 nays.
The Board went into Execu¬ tive Session at 8:06 P.M. to discuss Personnel.
Came out of Executive Session at 8:46 P.M.
Mr. Grismer moved Mr. Spears 2nd to approve granting Tenure to: Pamela Cook, Ron Garrison. Chester Nelson, James Tichy, Cindi Sheppard, Shirley Williams, Jan Lewis, Linda Lanphier, Mary Egner a Wayne Blake. The motion carried with 7 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Pupich moved Mrs. Basel 2nd to approve renewals for 2nd year status: Ann Tirk, Carol Guertin, Calvin Schneider, Mary Jo Collins, Jean Iverson, Jane Ruhberg, and Holly Ravitz. The motion carried 7 yeas and Onays
Mr. Pupich moved Mrs. Basel 2nd to approved the resolution for dismissal of first year probationer, Chris Frenz. The. motion carried with 7 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Grismer moved Mr. Spears 2nd to approve the resolution for dismissal of first year probationer, Yale Simkin. The motion carried with 7 yeas and 0 nays.
Mrs. Basel moved Mr. Reid 2nd to approve the resolution authorizing non-renewal of part time teacher's contract, of Lonni Oldham. The ntotion carried with 5 yeas by Basel, Reid, Spears, Pupich and Livingston, 1 nay by Grismer and 1 pass by Zirk.
Mr. Pupich moved Mr. Zirk 2nd to apptove part-time ren¬ ewals for: Linda Kostelac and Elizabeth Kruger. The motion carried 7 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Grismer moved Mr. Spears 2nd to accept the resignation of Betty Anderson, eflective Aagust 25, 1981. The, motion carried 7 yeas and 0 nays.
