Tbe Redskins won their firat match against Marengo in two ftdriy eaay games iS-9, 15-1. The Skins played quite well together and missed only 4 serves. Marengo helped out Huntley a bit by making costly mistakes. Tbe victory was an overall good team effort and advanced the Redskins to th^ semi-finals to play Richmond on Wednesday. Judy Borfaart was top server for the night 15 out of 18, 13 pts. Stacy Hulke was 8 out of 8 fbr S pts. Last Wednesday, November 19th, Midwest Well Supplyl [Company held their First Annual Service Award Dinner at Floyd's | Restaurant. Following a Prime Rib Dinner, twelve employees were honored. Mr. Edward A. Long, President and Mr. Bruce Graff, Industrial Relations Manager of Wheeling Machine Products Co. were present to meet the employees and extend congratulations and to present the awards. Toastmaster for the evening was Harty Daugherty who has been with the company for 45 years. Others honored were Adelbert Schwab, 14yrs; Ed Hayes, 13 yrs; John Hill, Leroy Meadows and Clarence Pruski, 12 years; Marilyn Eckman and Alton Huff, 11 years; Gladys Adams, Leonard Seattle, James Flemming and Lloyd Volkening, 10 yrs. All employees not receiving gifts were presented with Certificates of appreciation for their years of service. Marilyn Eckman, Leonard Seattle, and Gladys Adams (not present were Harry Dan^iery, Ed Hayea, Jamea Flemming and John Hill. ¦ IW Illl—PWWWI^H mmf HUNTLEY ANIMAL HOSPITAL On December 7th, the newly constructed Huntley Animal Hospital wiU hold an Open House firom 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Of interest to many will be the solar structure and how it works. On hand to greet Huntley residents will be the two vetrinarians who run tbe clinic. Dr. James Hume and Dr. Ellen Keifer. Dr. Hume is well known in Woodstodc as he runs a horse clinic called Scantwood Clinic. He graduated from the University of Olinois about 10 years ago. Dr. Hume resides with his wife, Cheryl and their two children in Woodstock. , Dr. Keifer graduated firom the University of Illinois in May of 1980. She was raised in Chicago. She currently resides in Woodstock. Dr. Keifer spedalized in horse care and plans to still do horse calls even though the clinic is fbr the care of dbgs and cats. The Huntley Animal Hospital hours are Monday thru Friday 9-12; Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4 to 8; Tuesday and Thursday 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 to 1 p.m. The Animal hospital opened on November 13. Dr. Keifer said that she liked Huntley and that it was a growing town and they hoped to grow with it. SCHOOLBOARD MEETING The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158. Huntley CotuoO- dated Sdiooia, Huntiey, Ufaioia. waa held in the High SdMtA building on November 13, 1960 at 7:30 p.m. The President called the meotlag to ondor at 7:52 p.m. a quorum not being present at 7:30 P.M. Upon toll call the following members answered .present: Mrs. Basel, Mr. Pupich, Mr. Zirk and Mrs. Livingaton. Absent: Mr. Oris¬ mer. Mr. Speara and Mr. Bald.
