Once again h is tfane to think about snow and how we faitend to handle h. It has been prodicted that we can expect mpre predpltatlMi this winter dian usual aad warmer temper¬ atures. Warmer temperatures sudi as fai the teens snd 20's generaDy promote more snow.
la any case, you caa expect to see a snowplow fai your area between 3:30 am aad 5:30 am aad hopeftaOy all roads wiU be plowed and travable by 6 am. If we have an exceptional snow storm sudi aa a blizzard, more time win have toJie allowed for snow removal. I think eveiyuae can understand dils.
As la the past, we work la doae oocyeratloa with die McHenry County Ifighway Oe- partment. If they dedare roads dosed in the County, that wfll be die caae In Oranoa Town¬
ship. The roads will then be opened immediately after storm is over.
Also under certain oonditloiis, we are alerted by the McHenry County Sbertfb Poike if our roads are slippery or impassable aad our trucks will roll at diat time. Under emergency ooodi- tkios, such as a caD Crom die Huntley Rre Piotectiun District, we win respond.
We will be hi touch wRh school districts aad wRl see diat aU bases get dmo^ safdy if schools should have to cfeae.
We have four tnicka hi fine condition, reatfy to go, with aa old 19W lat as a baefcnp. Also, I have had a whig Installed on one tmcfc Miidi mMmM speed up removal of aaow Itoai the roada.
