Joe said that he had had many other coaches compliment the Redskin team on the ball they played. He said that there could have been some improvements but that the team played hard and wanted I to win.
He praised Asst. Coach Larry Kahl and his knowledge of the game. He said that Larry had helped the varsity linemen, made suggestions and scouted for the team.
Joe said that he was proud of the team's playing this year and that any praise should be shared with the squad and Coach Kahl.
Jim Skomer, better known as the Red Pengum, was on hand to congratulate Joe. Mrs. GrifRn made the crown that Joe is wearing saying "Coach ofthe Year."

At approximately A a.m. Monday morning The Huntley Park' District office at Deicke Park was vandalized. The vandals gained entry by breaking a window next to the front door. They brokp allk but two windows and broke most of the screens. The windows were' shattered by a gutter eave which was ripped off the building. The vandals also plugged the building's two sinks with paper towels and tumed them on full blast. They took old papers and strewn them over the floor.
Park officials are not sure of all the damage at this time. The carpeting and heating system as well as the floor may have to be replaced because ofthe 2 or more inches of water. Shattered glass was everywhere. The destruction was found by Park District Secretary, Lois Parisek.
Police have flngerprmted the entire structure and will be continubig their investigatk>n. Continued on Inside Page

This week, Littie Eight All Conference honors were announced. Making the 1st team-were Dale Ghiy. End (offense) and Gary ScAultz, end (defense). The 2nd team winners were Joe Zorica, Quarterback and Dennis Poutdt, Linebacker. Honorable Mention was made of Dan Schaller, Jim Williams. Rick Foerster, Adam Brunschon and Jim Goehl.
The Redskins All Area Team were Joe Zorica. Dale Gray and Gary Schuhze.
For the All Area Team honorable mention was nade of Jim Wyiiams, Dan Sdialler, Dennis Foutch and Jim Goehl.
