ST. MARY'S OCTOBERFEST
Last Saturday night, Octol>er 10, St. Mary's Catholic Church hosted an Octoberfest in their remodeled churcfa basement. A large crowd attended the event and enjoyed the Bratts, beverage and dancing. Father Ambre was on hahd to greet all wiio attended. The give away was postponed to tlie Craft sale on November Mth.

TRINITY LUTHERAN BAKE & RUMMAGE SALE
The Ladies Aid of Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley will hold their Annual Rummage and Bake Sale on Saturday, October 24th at the church • one day only - from 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Clean, useable clothing, toys and household items will be on sale besides a variety of bakery items made by the members ofthe church.
SENIOR CRAFT SALE
The Senior band Craft Sale will be held on Sat. Oct. 17th from 9-12 at the post office and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Huntley Center.
REDSKIN FOOTBALL GAME THIS FRIDAY
Take Rt. 47 south to Rt. 34 and tum to the. West talung 34 past Mendota to LaMoilie where it changes into Route 92. This goes directly into Walnut.

The day began with the siren blat^g and fire trucks with their sirens resounding driving through town letting Huntley residents know that it was time for the fire drill and open house.
Firemen had a nice day for their 1st daytime Open House held at the school football field. A large crowd viewed the fire equipment and talked to firemen and para-medics. The snorkel was not only on display but in action as firemen went alcrft in the bucket. The firemen showed techniques for putting out a trailer fire for a finale.

This year Trick or Treating will be held on Saturclay, October 31 st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Huntley Park District will hold their Halloween Costume Parade at the Grade Schooi Gym at 6:X p.m. and a movie "Hold That Ghost" starring At)tx)tt & Costello will be shown afterwards.
