Present were President En¬ strom, Trustees Berlin, brown, Rudsinski, Dhamer, Wicke and Mercer, as well as the Village Attomey Richard Szura, Village Engineer Schwegel, Police Chief Rossi and members 6f the Public Works Department. The first order of old business was the review of the minutes fiom the following meetings: April 7, April 11, April 19 and April 25. 1983. There being no additions nor corrections, they stood approved as presented. The financial reports wete reviewed and a mation waa made by Tnutee Mercet, seconded by Trustee Wicke, to approve the Treasurer's Repoct for April, 1983 and upon roll call, all tnutees voted aye and the motion carried. The bills for the current month were examined by the Trustees and found to be in order. A motion was made by Trustee Mercer, seoonded by Trustee Brown, to approve the payment of said bills and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye, the motion carried. The nezt order of business was the President's veto of the Ordinance Establishhig Parkiiig Restrictions within the Village of Huntley, McHenry County, Dlinois. He felt h was an unnecessary ordinance and also unenforceable. He also feft that it would force cars to be parked in front of other businesses and thus cause a like problem elsewhere. He also stated that he had seen no more than five cars at any time and that he had had village persoimel watch for parking problems and none were visible at any time. The Chief of Police reported that there was no way his department could enforce the 2-hour parking restriction as there was not sufficient personnel to handle it. A marking of tires or a diecking of time would have to be made and he felt that this ordinance was not a feasible law for this village. Trustee Berlin asked if the President had another solution, to which he stated he feh that when the Farm Service land was decUcated to the village, paridng oould be made available to those people working in the business district. The Board then heard ftom Mr. Bill Galanis of the Village Inn Restaurant, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Frick of the Huntley Phannacy, who were the oomplaintants.
