Pictured above are Rev. Roger Meallff and his wife, Penny, ' their family at the annual Congregational Church Picnic held tast Sunday at Deicke Park. This was not only a picnic for the church but a farewell party for the Mealiffs who will be leaving the parish shortly. They presented him with a cake with an Irish Blessing written on it and gifts to wish him a fond farewell.

The Redskins Varsity Football Team played Hiawatha winning 44-6. The Skins immediately took charge of the game with both offensive and defensive lines doing a superb job. The Skins had an excellent running game and very few penalties.

The F-S Redskins took on Hiawatha at home last Friday winning 28-0. ISoth offensive and defensive lines were superb.
Hiawatha had a ball on their own 42. Huntley took over on the 39 but couldn't move the ball. DeDina stopped 22 at the 46 and then downed 86 at the 48. Murphy St Rogmaa tackled 22 at the Huntley 49. Ellswoctb & Jacobs stopped 22 at the 42.

the quarterback. Mesick took the kickoff at the 37. Doyle went to the 40 and again to the 44. Jacobs, on a pass play, moved from the 45 to the 6 yd. Une. Doyle made the TD for a 6-0 score.

CUB SCOUT SIGN UP SEPT. 17th
Sign-up for new Cub Scouts will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 7:30 p.m. in the Congregational Church. Any boy's in 3rd thru Sth grades or who are 8 years old, may register. Scouting is an excellent leaming experience for young boys.
To make this year's scouting program work, we still need some leaders. Time donated to scouting is a rewarding ezperience in your child's future. To volunteer or fbr more information, call Chuck Harp at 669-5583.
JAYCEE FOOTBALL CAMP REGISTRATION THIS SATURDAY
The Huntley Area Jaycees will sponsor a Junior Football Camp for Boys in the Huntley Area. The camp will be held from September 24 to October 17 and will be open for boys in grades 5 thru 8.
The camp will emphasis leaming about all football positions, safety, sportsmanship and eiyoying the game of football. An attempt is being made to schedule a game with another team to conclude the camp.
Boy interested may sign up at the American Legion on Saturday, September 19th from 10 am to noon. A SIO.OO registration is being charged to cover the cost of insurance and use ofthe equipment.
MEET TEACHERS NIGHT
All parents of students in ttae Huntley Elementary aad High Schools are invited to attend a special "Meet the Teachers" night on September 22 in the Elementary School gym. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and is being CO-sponsored by the Adminis¬ tration, the Parent-Teacher Organization and the Huntley Education Associatioa. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to meet your children's teaxdiers, leam about their plans fbr the school year, and also to meet the principals and the administration.
