REDSKINS ROLL OVER HEBRON 34-0
HUNTLEY FIREMEN TAKE 2nd. PLACE
Last Sunday, September Mth, Huntley Firemen hosted the County Waterfights. Twelve teams participated in the fights. The weather marred the day. Huntley waterfighting team #1 took 2nd Place losing to Cary 3 to 2. The barrell was in the Huntley side of the court when time ran out giving Cary the victory. Woodstock City took 3rd and Pingree Grove took 4th Place. The consolation trophy was won by Hampshire.

TEACHERS SEPT. 23RI
A "Meet the Teadiers" night is being planned for September 23 at the Huntley schools. The spedal ni^t will be sponsored by the Parent Teschers Orgsn-i ization so thst psrents may get acquainted with the teachers and also that teadier* may visit with tbe parents of their students.
SCHOOLBOARD MEEHNQ
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158, Huntley Consoli¬ dated Schools. Huntley, Dlinois, was held in the High School Building on September 11, 1980.
The President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the absence of the Secretary, the President appointed Mrs. Basel secretary pro-tem. Upon roll call the following members were present: Mr. Grismer, Mr. Spears. Mr. Reid. Mr. Pupich. Mrs. Basd and Mrs. Livingston. Continued on Page 4
"f^ Despite another very hot day. the Redskin Varsity Team showed ~'what a good team they are as they rolled over Hebron for a S6-0 score. Quarterback Dale Erath's passing was considerably improved from last week. Bob Brannam was back in the game after a pulled muscle last week. Steve Reynolds was out of the Hebron, game with a pulled muscle. He is ezpected to be bade in action for next weeks game. Also still out were Tyter Newton snd Darrell PCsff.
Hopp kicked off to the 26 yd. line. C. Wi^tmsn wss brought down fay Parisek at the 45. J. Wightman went to the 26 where he was stopped by Roesslein. Roesslein and Lindsey held them.to the 27. Hopp tackled Winter at the 35. Goehl intercepted a pass at the 18. Brunschon went to the 21 while Goehl went to the 30.
Hebron took possession at the 37 and moved to the Huntley 26. Eeg k Lindsey pushed Hebron back to the 34. Huntley regained control at the 20. Goehl moved to the 23 while Hopp on a short pass went to the 33. Doyle added 10 yds and Goehl 3. Schweiger was at the SO on a short pass. Doyle went to the Hebron 45 while Goehl moved to the 23. Branschon ran to the 18. Goehl was to the 13. the Redskins fumbled and recovered. Goehl again moved to the 4 while Doyle went to the 2 for a 1 st down. The Skins were moved to the 8 on a penalty. Goehl went to the 5. In the 2nd Quarter Branschon moved to the 2. A penalty was called making Doyle's TD no good. The Skins were moved back to the 23. Branschon went to the 6 but Huntley had to tura over the ball to Hebron.
Hebron was held to the 6 by Briscoe and had to kickoff. The ball landed at the Huntiey 46. Doyle moved to the 24 while Goehl went to the 13. Branschon made the Redskin TD for a 6^ score.
C. Wightman caught the kickoff at the 27 where he was downed by Hopp and Len Allen. Hebron couldn't gain any yardage and the ball reverted back to Huntley.
Doyle took the punt at the 10 to the 49. Goehl moved to the Hebron 48. Brunsdion gained S yds. Goehl went to the 31 and then to the 27. Lindsey gained 11 yds. fbr the Skins. Branschon carried the ball to the 8. Erath went to the 1 and then on the nezt play made a TD. Briscoe kid;ed the eztra point for a 13-0 score.
C. Wightman picked np the kickoff at the 18. Briscoe and Lindsey tackled Milan at the 23. Winter was stopped by Erath at the 30 on a pass play. Hebron went to the SO on a Redskin penalty. Briscoe downed Ritter at the 45. Lindsay broke up a pass attempt. Roesslein pushed J. Wightman back to the 44.
Hundey was in possession ofthe ball. Goehl in a super play made a touchdown on a pass-run combination for 90 yds. Briscoe made the eztra pt. with a good punt fbr a 20-0 score.
Hebron was held to 10 yds. by Reeves, Grechis and Hopp. In a super play Schweiger blocked a pass by Ritter. Huntiey moved 12 yds before the half ended.
The half began with Rpeves moving the ball to the 38. Doyle wnet to the 46 while Branschon pkjwed through to the 32. Branschon made a super ran to the Hebron 8. Doyle moved the ball up to the 3. Goehl went in for the TD for a 26-0 scok.
Walters was downed by Lindsey at the 37. Wheaton was held by Schweiger and Lindsey at the 37 and they used a squeeze play stopping a Hebron player at the 39.
Goehl caught the Hebron kickoff at the 43 and again went to the Hebron 45. Brunschon moved to the 17 with Doyle going to the 13. Goehl ran in the TD and the extra pt. for a 34-0 lead.
Hebron couldn't hold onto the ball and Parisek intercepted it at the 46. Goehl moved to the 34 for a 1st down. Branschon ran to the 23 while Parisek was held at the 23. Lindsey added 5 yds. The Redskins fumbled and Hebron recovered. Reeves and Goehl brought down Winter at the 38. Eeg and Ken Allen sacked the quarterback at the 26.
Doyle took the kickoff at the 50. Grechis went to the Hebron 42
