Karen Ostrander has been promoted to Buyer in the Purchasing Dept. of Wabash Tape Corp., Huntley, III., manu¬ facturer of magnetic coated . pndMcts&tf the diM processing industry.
Since joining Wabash in 1972 as a receptionist, Mrs. Ostrander has held the positions of general clerk and, for the past three years, purchasing/ac¬ counts payable secretary. In her new position, the is responsible for the purchase of raw mater¬ ials, supplies, and equipment in support ofthe company's manu¬ facturing activities.
A 1972 graduate of Huntley High School, Mrs. Ostrander currently resides in Union, 111.
BACK BOB'S BACK
On Friday, March 10th, a State Bank of Huntley official present¬ ed a check for $2,450.00 to Mr. Robert Peterson.
This amount represented the total money raised in the "Back Bob's Back" drive for funds. The Robert Peterson account was opened in December and deposits were accepted until March 4th.
An important part of this account was the money raised at the 1st Annual Huntley Volley¬ ball Toumament and a share of the Jaycees' Las Vegas Night.
All those involved in organizing this campaign wish to thank the Huntley Communi¬ ty for its fine moral and financial support.

Children ages 3 thru 5 will be registered for vision and hear¬ ing screening March 30, 1978 at the Huntley Grade School, 11302 Lincoln St. Huntlev. II. between the hour* of 9 • 11 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m. At this time those who register wfll be given an Appointment Slip, a Teaching. Game for the screening, a Physical/Dental Form for kin¬ dergarten, and a Readiness Screening Form to be completed here.
