On Wed., Nov. 15. the Redskins traveled to Kirkland to begin Little 8 Conference Tour¬ nament play. Huntley took on Earlville. Earlier in the season Huntley had beaten Earlville quite easily. However, the Raiders had changed over a few players, and brought a very much improved team to the tournament. They caught Huntley off guard in the 1st game as they walked off the court with a 20-3 victory. In game 2 & 3 Huntley settled down to some serious volleyball and took charge winning the nezt 2 games to win the match.
The win advanced Huntley to the semi finals on Saturday, where they again traveled to Kirkland. At 9:30 the host team and No. 1 seed Hiawatha faced Burlington Central. The Hawks defeated the Central Rockets and advanced to the champion-

ship game. The next game was a real battle between the Redskins and Richmond Burton. The 1st game was real close with many long exciting rallies. Huntley was down 15-10 in the game as Brenda Tessmer enter¬ ed to serve. She did a great job as she served 7 straight points to give the Redskins a 17-15 lead. Richmond came back with 3 pts., but Connie Marsh put the game away with 3 more points and gave the Redskins a 20-18 victory.
In game 2 Huntley did not play nearly as well as they had in game 1 as they lost by a large margin 20-6.
The Redskins returned tu form in game 3 as the lead changed throughout. Kim Eckman scored the 1st 6 pts. as she continued her good serving. The team really hustled and played heads up volleyball. The Continued on Back Page
