LIONS CLUB INSTALLATION
Last Saturday, the Huntley Lions Club held its Annual Installation at the Timbers Resturant. Presiding over the meeting for the last time was Lion President Dennis Rudsinski. Following a delicious roast beef dinner. President Rudsinski presented Secretary Chuck Lamb with an attache case for his year of service. President

Members of the Track Team competed at the District finals setting a new scliool record of 1:54.9. Paula Isenhart competed in the 100 yd. dash with a time of 12.1 and in the 220 yd. dash with 23.3. Huntley girls competing in the 880 yd. relay were Sherry Gperlitz, Debbie Lovins, Carol Emesti and Paula Isenhart. The team competed at the State Finals at Charleston, Dlinois at Eastern Illinois University.
SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
The regular meettng of the Board of Education of Schoo: District #158, Huntley Consoli dated Schools, Huntley, Illinois, was held in the High School Building on May 24, 1979 at 7:30 p.m.
The President called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Upon roll call the following members answered present: Mrs. Pawl, Mrs. Basel, Mr. Spears, Mr. Pupich, Mr. Zirk, and Mrs. Livingston. Absent: Mr. Grismer.
All present joined in the Pledge to the Flag.
1. Mr. Pupich moved Mrs. Livingston 2nd to approve the minutes of the May 10 meeting as written. 6 yeas, motion carried.
2. Mrs. Pawl moved Mr. Zirk 2nd to approve the resolution to loan $60,000 to the Education Fund from the Working Cash Fund. 6 yeas, motion carried.
3. Mr. Pupich moved Mr. Spears 2nd to approve the low bids for custodial supplies. 6 yeas, motion carried.
The Board went into Execu¬ tive session at 7:38 p.m. to discuss personnel. Came out of Executive session at 8:10 p.m.
4. Mrs. Basel moved Mr. Spears 2nd to accept the resignation of:
Ed Qark - CETA Custodial Aide - Effective June S, 1979. 6 yeas, motion carried.
5. Mrs. Pawl moved Mr. Pupich 2nd to accept the resignation of:
Margaret Swanson - Secre¬ tary G.S. effective Jnae 30, 1979. 6 yeas, 1 pass-Mr. liA,

"Grafton * Homemakers is having a Bake Sale Saturday, June 16 at the State Bank of Huntley from 9:00 - ??. All monies will go to the Huntley Harvestors 4-H Qub to help cover expenses for their trip to Springfield so they can perform their Share-The-Fun act at the State Fair. As you know, they won 1st place in county competi¬ tion, and will be representing: McHenry County. Any candy bars the club has left wUl also bei available for sale.

7. Mrs. Pawl moved Mrs Basel 2nd to approve termina tion of position: Title I Aide Effective June 8, 1979. 6 yeas motion carried.
8. Mr. Spears moved Mrs Pawl 2nd to approve employ ment of: Annette Kastning, Bus Driver $4.75 per hour effective August 29, 1979. Mr. Spears amended the motion to read $4.75 per run, Mr. Pupich 2nd vote on the amended motion. 6 yeas, motion carried.
9. Mr. Zirk moved Mrs Basel 2nd to approve summer employ¬ ment of: Joe Manning Custodian helper - $4.75 per hour 8 hours per day Effective: May 31, 1979 to August 10, 1979. 7 yeas, motion carried, Mr. Grismer having joined the meeting at 8:50 p.m.
10. Mr. ZSrk moved Mr. Grismer 2nd to approve employ¬ ment of: Mary Ellen Moerke, Curriculum IVpist $3.75 per hour 6 hours per day Effective May 31,1979 to August 3,1979. Yeas: Zirk, Grismer, Basel and Livingston. Nays: Pawl and Pupich. Pass: Spears. 4 yeas, 2 nays, 1 pass, motion carried.
11. Mr. Pupich moved Mts. Basel 2nd to approve change of assignment of: Barbara Turley, Reading A. English, from 4/7 to full time Effecdve August 29, 1979. 6 yeas, 1 pass-Spears. motion carried.
12. Mr. Pawl moved Mr. 23rk 2nd to approve the letter requesting $9,680 in revenue sharing funds to be flled through the ViUage Board. 7 yeas, motion carried.
13. Mr. Grismer moved Mrs. Pawl 2nd to approve the letter indicating our Intention to withdraw froi^ tfae ' Little 8
