Notice to All Postal Customers Receiving Curbside Delivery
Huntley Pack 167 Tiger Cubs Fall Fishing Trip
The Huntley Post Office requests that customers erecting curbside mailboxes should be sure to put their house number on the front of the box and print their last name on the inside of the door. This will enable us to more accurately deliver your mail to the correct box.
Another problem that we are encountering is automobiles parked in front of mailboxes. Curbside mail delivery means that the carrier has to be able to deliver mail into your mailbox from the car window. He is not required to dismount from his auto in

order to serve your box.
We request all cititens to refrain from parking in front of their own or their neighbors mail box during that part of the day that would ordinarily be mail delivery time in that area. If the carrier is unable to drive up to your box to serve it, he will pass by without delivering your mail on that day.
Everyone's co-operation with regard to curbside delivery will be greatly appreciated. We hope to have this new delivery service operating smoothly after the first few days and hope that those who avail themselves of this new service will enjoy it.
