If anyone has any that they are anxious to get out of their basement or garage, either place the bundles at the curb or call Bern Jilek at 669-5840 for pick-up. The magazines should be in separate bundles from the newspapers. The money eamed from collecting these papers and magazines is used to help pay for summer camp for the scouts. Summer camp is a wonderful experience for a scout. He is able to enjoy the camaraderie of his fellow scouts, learn many new skills, and earn a maximum of three merit badges. In order to climb the ladder of scout¬ ing and eventually reach the highest level of Eagle Scout, a boy must earn twenty-one merit badges. Troop #167 just recently had two boys reach this honor and would be proud to have more boys attain this goal. So help send a scout to camp by donating your old newspapers and magazines.
