REDSKINS
VICTORIOUS 32-0
The Redskin Varsity Team was victorious over Wheaton- Christian Football team last Saturday at an away game. The final score was 32-0.
The Redskins took charge of the game from the start. After recovering the kick off Joe Zorica threw a 46 yard pass to Dale Gray for a touchdown. Zorica completed 10 out of 17 passes for the day for 219 yards
in throwing alone. Dale Gray and Steve Parisek were the pass receivers.
Adam Brunschon was respon¬ sible for two touchdowns, one in the 2nd Quarter and one in the 3rd. No extra points were made until Jim Goehl ran in the extra point on the last touchdown of the game.

HOMECOMING COURT OF HONOR
This year's Homecoming King and Queen will be one of the following members of the Homecoming Court. These can¬ didates were picked by the High School Students. They are:
QUEEN CANDIDATES Dacia Bunt, Lonna Jones, Julie McMahon, Connie Marsh and Brenda Tessmer
KING CANDIDATES Jim Kearns, Dan Schaller, Gary Schultz, Jim Williams and Joe Zorica
This year something new was added as each high school class has two representatives in the court. These were also elected by the student body. They are:
FRESHMAN CLASS Natalie Freund - Dan McMahon
SOPHOMORE CLASS Carol Emesti - Dale Erath
JUNIOR CLASS Donna McMahon - Steve Doyle
had the yardage to make up 139 running yards. In all the Redskins gained 358 yards while Wheaton Christian only totaled 50 yards.
One of the highlights of the game was a 51 yard catch by Jim Goehl from Joe Zorice.
Cbach Manning said that the club played well. He said that he thought there oould be much improvement becauae of penal¬ ties and fumbles by the Red¬ skins. The team had 85 yard* in penalties and 5 fiunbles most of which were recovered by our team.
HUNTLEY FIREMEN WIN 1st PLACE
Pictured above are members of the Huntley Water Fight team. They are from left to right, Milford Brown. Boh Kunde - Captain. Ed Ideler, and John Hutsler. The team won the Ist place trophy at Twin Lakes, Wisconsic in a 3 county water fight cotnpetition. Then were 21 teams competing from Lake. Kenosha and McHenrv Counties. The Huntley team's first opponent was Twin Lakes Iti. next was Wheatland and for the trophy and Ist place they took on Wauconda.
The Huntley team also placed 3rd in the McHenrv County Water Fight Assoc, for the county. They missed Znd place by '/j point.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158 Huntley Consoli¬ dated Schools, Huntley Illinois was held in the High School Building on September 27, 1979 at 7:30 p.m.
in the absence of the Presi¬ dent, the meeting was called to order by Vice President Pupich at 7:32 pm. Upon roll call the following members answered present: Mrs. Basel, Mr. Spears Mr. Pupich and Mr. Zirk. Absent: mrs. Pawl, Mrs. Living¬ ston and Mr. Grismer.
All present joined in the Pledge to the Flag.
Mrs. Basel moved Mr. Spears 2nd to approve the minutes of the Sept. 13 meeting as written. The motion carried with 4 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Pupich moved Mrs. Basel 2nd to approve the Legal Budget for Fiscal 80. The motion carried with 3 yeas who were Pupich, Basel and Zirk and 1 nay - Mr. Spears.
Mrs. Basel moved Mr. Spears 2nd to approve tbe low bid of Boncosky Oil Company fbr .799 to provide gasoline for the 1979-80 school year. The motion carried with three yeas - Basel, Spears and Papich and one pass -Zirk.
Mr. Zirk moved Mr. BmcI 2nd to approve blacktopping for the Sduth East high school drive where waahouts are a problem. The motion carried with 4 yeas and no nays.
Mr. GrUmer joined the meet¬ ing at 9:48 p.m.

PARK DISTRICT MEETING
The regular meeting of the Huntley park District was called to order at 8 P.M. on Wednes¬ day, September 26, 1979. Pre¬ sent were Commissioners Ruth, Mercer, Weltzien, Tures and Borhart. Also present were Attorney Cowlin and larry Kahl.
The minutes of tbe special meeting of August 13 and tite regular meeting of Aognt 22 were read. Mr. Borhart owed to approve tbe minutes, sMiMid- ed by Mr. Tores. AO "'inimt sioners voted aye cad the motimi carried.
The Treasurer's tepait wea presented. Mr. WdtiiM uette a motion to accept the zmpexi, seconded by Mrs. M«esr. AO Commissioners voted ayv sad the motion carried.
The bUls tor the moath waa opened. A modon to pajraftMb was made by Mr. Bomrt, seconded by Mr. WdtilM. AU Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
Betsey Warrington entered the meeting.
The Grounds and Mainten¬ ance Committee gave their report. A very lengthy discus¬ sion followed, including work sdiedule with Larry Kahl, tree plantiifb, restrooms, equip¬ ment, saow plowing, ordfaiance and reservations.
Mrs. Mercer and Mr. Borhart were asked to study the ordinance and reservation pol- icy.
