PHIL FREUND NAMED XL DEALER
CHUCK RUTH CANDIDATE FOR TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR
Last Wednesday, February 16th, B dinner was held at Floyd's Resturant to honor Phil Freund. Phil received a plaque for becoming an XL Dealer. He also was awarded a framed certificate showing the goals which he had attained to become an XL Dealership •
The Pen and Pencil set were presented to Wayne Beu, Farm Sales Manager by Mr. Freund for his efforts irt securing the XL award. Continued on Page 2

Last Saturday, February 19th, the DHnois 4H Foundation's County RepresenUtive, aul Withington, and McHenry County Extension Advisor, Dave Plocher, presented Henry and Deu Marlowe of Marlowe Feed & Hatchery, with the foundation* Silver Qover Qub membership. The tegular meeting of (he 'Board of Educadon of School DisiricC #158, Huniley, Dlinois. was held in ihe higfa school library on February 14,1977, at 8:45 PM.
Mr. Ruih, Mr. Breicschneidcr^ Mr. Zirk, Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Livingsion were preseni. Dr Gran and Mr. Siading wete absent.
Mrs. Liviogsion was appoinied secretary pro-iem.
A motionwas made by Mr. Ziit and 2nd by Mr. Bretischneider io approve the minutes as read. Moiion carried 5 - 0.
A moiion was made by Mr. Bretischneider and 3nd by Mr. Richmond io approve the monthly biUs with ihe excepiion of the following three bills - Welcos Consi., Derald Wesi, and Mrs. N. Breiischneider. Motion carried 5 -0.
A motion was made by Mt. Zirk and 2nd by Mrs. Livingston io iransfer S961.61 io the Imprest fund. Motion carried 5 - 0.
Mid year diplomas were pre- senied to ihe eariy grads.
A motion was made by Mr. Ruih and 2nd by Mr. Hxk io empower the building cotauiiite to purchase two plaques from tiie seleciiouptesenied the board. Motion carrie 5 - 0.
A modon was made by Mr. Bretischoeitter and 2nd by Mr. Zitk fof ihe board io buy the minimum insurance for ihe Senior Gass Trip. Moiion carried 5 - 0.
A motion was made by Mrs. Livingston and 2nd by Mr. Ruth io inform Mrs.Margii Naden of the tentiinaiion of ihe preseni high sch(x>l german position. Moiion carried 5 - 0.
A modon was made by . Mr. Bretischneider and 2nd by Mr. Ruih io hire Mr. Terry Ball as ihe new cusiodian. Moiion carried 5 - 0.
