LION'S CLUB PICNIC A SUCCESS
Last Sunday, the Huntley Lion's Club held their annual Chicken Barbeque at the Huntley American Legion. Atwut 1300 orders were taken. Many of them were carry outs biecause of the crazy wet and cold weather. Towards noon the weather started to clear and more people came down to eat at the Legion. Instead of cooking the chickens behind the Legion as is traditionally done, this year they were cooked at Freund Equipment's Garage. The winner ofthe trip was Creed Pope Jr. of Woodstock.
The Lions wish to thank all those who attended to make the Barbeque a success and all those who

KITE WORKSHOP JUNE 28
On Sat., June 28, the Huntley Paifc District wUI be sponsoring a Kite Workshop for people of ALL ages ftom 10:00-1:30 (bring a sack lunch). John LeFetier will tastrud the workshop. You'll lie learning the history of kites and will adually make a tetrahedel kite that was originated by Alexander Graham Bell in his search for "flight for man." The cost ofthe workshop is S1.50 per person. Bring kite string and crayons or markers to*decorate your kite which you will be flying by the end ofthe dayl
CHURCH PICNIC THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday. Trinity Lutheran Church will hold their annual picnic at Deicke Park at 10:30 am. Their will be games for all ages from cards to volleyball. All you need is a lawn chair, a dish to pass and your tableware, the rest is supplied.
Come and enjoy the service, the food, the games and the fellowship this Sunday.
The Huntley Senior Citizens will sponsor a Bake and Rummage Sale on June 21 at the Huntley Congregattonal Chureh social hall lieginntag at 9 am. While no rummage is being solidted, bakery donations will be greatly appredated by local persons. The rummage consist of many new things and some good "white elephant" items. Kate Boncosky will chair the rummage sale and May Chesak is chairman of the bake sale. Seniors are urged to have their "rummage" items to the church on Friday aftemoon and baked goods should t>e at the church no later than 8:30 a.m. on

The most fequently reported disorder ta a recent U.S. Public helath taterview study wffl be dealt with on June 23, 1980 when the Lions Mobile Hearing Service Unit comes to Huntley, Illinois.
The tests wiU be given free of charge from 10:00 am-12:30 and 2:00 pm-S:00p.m. in the Unh, which will be parked at the American Legion, Corner of Woodstock and Coral Streets. Huntley. Dlmois. Stafftag the Unit will be local Lioness volunteers headed by Gail Hayes, Hearing Unit Chairper¬ son and a Qinical Audiologist and Hearing Technidan to do the actual hearing screenings and evaluations.

The President called the meettag to order at 7:30 p.m. Upon roll call the following members answered present: Mrs. Basel, Mr. Spean, Mr. Pupich, Mr. Ried, Mr. Zitk and Mrs. Livingston. Absent Mr. Grismer.

Mr. Ried moved Mr. Pupich 2nd to approve the mtautes of the May 22 meettag as written. The motion carried with 6 yeas and 0 nays.
Mr. Pupich moved Mrs. Basel 2nd to approve payment of the monthly bills. The motion carried with S yeas, 0 nays and 1 pass by Mrs. Basel (possible conflid of interest).
Mr. Zirk moved Mr. Reid 2nd to reimburse Imprest Fund the suro of $1003.01. The motion carried with 6 yeas and 0 nays.
