Yes the Huntley Waste Water Treatment Plant is being sued. The Water Treatment plant has been involed in paper work since 1985 in an endevor to have the plant expanded. The DMR (Discharge Monitering Report) submitted monthly to the lEPA wiU
verify the over capacity condition. It is from this report that the state is notified of the condition present. They are now in the final phase of the new construction operation. As the new plant goes on line the water quality will
improve considerable and will meet all EPA standards. "The suit, Steve Nimbar said,"is just a formality to document the paper work for the over capacity condition in order to receive federal funding for the expantion".
