The Huntley High School senior was selected for his outstanding and consistant improvement in January. Sheldon scored 205 points and moved to 5th on the list of scoring leaders. Congratulations Sheldon! Craft Time At "Mom & Me' ^'^^^m^^ Denise and Amy Wills are enjoying craft time at Huntley Park District's "Mom & Me" Program, held on Fridays, 10:30-11:30 am. A new session is held each month. The next session will begin on Feb. 9 and continue until Feb. 23. The fee for this session is $12.50 and includes a Valentine Party. Connie Lombard instructs. To register, call the park office at 669-3180. ;4-A ¦*-""' Yes the Huntley Waste Water Treatment Plant is being sued. The Water Treatment plant has been involed in paper work since 1985 in an endevor to have the plant expanded. The DMR (Discharge Monitering Report) submitted monthly to the lEPA wiU verify the over capacity condition. It is from this report that the state is notified of the condition present. They are now in the final phase of the new construction operation. As the new plant goes on line the water quality will improve considerable and will meet all EPA standards. "The suit, Steve Nimbar said,"is just a formality to document the paper work for the over capacity condition in order to receive federal funding for the expantion". Annual Hobo Show Tickets for 1st Congregational Church of Huntley's annual Hobo Show will go on sale Saturday, Feb. 10, 1990, 8:30-12:00 in the social hall of the church. The dates for the show are: Friday, March 2, 7:00 pm and Saturday, March 3, 5:30 and 8:00 pm. No tickets will be sold at the door, advanced ticket sales only. Prices are: Adults $7.00 and children 12 ii under $3.50. A delicious beef stew dinner will be served, , followed by the Chancel Choir's presentation of Murder On The Hobo Express, a musical comedy-variety show. After Feb. 10, tickets may be obtained by calling Sue Frihart at 708-669-3235 after 6:30 pm.
