A seven year old' boy, David Gahl was killed when he fell off of a tractor at Unton on Friday, June 18. He was reportedly riding on the tractor which was pulling a lohd of bay. The Uttle feUow had just completed the 2nd grade at the Evergreen Park School in Umon. The Huntley Summer School is liublishing a school newspaper call¬ ed "Summer School Herald." It con¬ tains articles written by students in the summer .rchool program and ¦ is under the guidance of Mr. Wash- bau.sh. In addition "to school eyents the paper reports current activities throughout the Huntley area, such as 4-H news etc. The paper also con¬ tains an editorial page. From time to itme tho Farmside will publish various articles which appear in this school paper. Wc will credit the authors.

The regruiar meeting of the Hunt ley Park EJistrict was heid on Wed¬ nesday, June 23rd, 1971. The meet- iDg was called to order at 8:15 p.m. by Vice President Mackeben. Upon •.oil call those present were Com¬ missioners Deicke; Mackeben and Tures with Commissioners Parisek and Ream at>sent.
Mr. Mackeben call for the read¬ ing of the minutes of the previous meeting of 5-26-71 which were ap¬ proved as read, without and addit¬ ions or corrections.
The Treasurers r^ort was then read and a motion was made by Mr. Deicke, seconded by Mr. Ream to approve the report as read. All Commissioners voted aye and the report was filed for audit
Commissioner Parisek entered tlie meeting at this point and presided over the re^t of the meeting.
The monthly bills were then pre¬ sented for payment after which a moti"n was made iry Mr. Deicke, •¦econded by Mr. Tures. to pay all bills as presented. Upon roll call all Crmmis?ioners voted aye and the motion carried.

Mr. Deick'' then presented a re¬ port on t,>e liehts fer the park en¬ trance posts. He offered a drawing f f custom made copper or brass lights, for the boards inspection. The board i>eing in agreement, the Ro ^ead was given for Installing tho above described lights.
Nrxt Mr. Cowiin presented the board membere with copies of the appropriation ordinance. A motk>n was made by Mr. Mackeben, second¬ ed by Mr. Deicke, to approve tbe ordinance as .presented. All CtHb- missioners voted aye and the mot¬ ion carried. The Secretary wj^s then instructed to publish a copy in The Huntley Farmside and se¬ cure three proofs of publication.
In the next cwder of businen it was decided that the ixiard would f)rder only two subscriptions to-The Illinois Parks and Recreation Maga¬ zine this year. One subscription is to be used as an office copy and kept cn file for tlie use of the en¬ tire board. A motion was made to this effect by Mr. Parisek, seconded by Mr. Tures. All CommissionerB voted aye and the motion carried.
