Judsnn Is cur reatly 12-11 overall and la sacond place, a half game behind leader ooncordla C<rflege, In the Northern minis Interoollegiate Conference C(mference with a 6-3 record. Keesling, a 6 foot-1, 24 year old senior, is currently the Gsfcles sec¬ ond leading scorer. Grary is aver¬ aging 16.5 pts. on the season and is S(»ring at a 19-1 clip in confer¬ ence. Keesling 'is the Eagles most ac«urate Shooter as he is currently hitting 52.3% fixim the field and 83.2 <}f, foom tfie freethrow line. Gary has to-date accumulated 527 points in his two ycirs at Judson. That total leaves him one point shy of becoming one of the top ten (;areer soorers at Judson. Recently, in a NIIC contest against George Willl-ams College, Kcealing poured in 42 points which is only one point behind the sdhool Goehl Honored At Northem Jerry Ippoliti, head football coach for Northern lUinois University will be the featured ^leaker at tfie Ltons Annual Athletic dinner, ApqH II. at 7:00 P-M. Steve Goehl, who played for Coach IppoUti will b? a guesit of honor. Mr. Goehl's outstamfing per¬ formance as a member of the N.I.U. team resulted in reoognition by sev¬ eral area papers. The Hunitley ath¬ lete was featured in spott stories in the papens. ITie lions Club sponsors the an¬ nual dinner to strnw appreciation to the Huntley students, who have participated in athletics and cheer- leading. Students from the grade scfaool and high sdiool are recog¬ nized that evening. Tickets can be purchased at the High School office betvyeen 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. School Board Notice The April regular meeting of the Board of Education will be held on April 17, 1972 kistead of AprU 10, 1972. Gary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Keesling of Sylvia, Kansas. Keesling attended Sylvia Higli School and lettered in Basketball and f(X)tball. Upon griduating from Sylvia H. S. in 1965. Keesling at¬ tended Sterling Oollege for two years, after that Keeslk^ served in the Navy before comii^ to Jud¬ son where he has lettered in base¬ ball (2 yr.) and basketball. Gary, a human relation^ major at Jud*n, hopes to teach after graduation. Keesltng is married lo tho fonner Judie Harm of Huntley and they have one child, Troy, Fredrtc.
