A cocittail hour preceeded the meal for the off duty policenien, complimcnte of the restaumairt FoUow- ij>g the meal the party was continued at the Village Hall. A good tune
was reportedly bad by all and re- fieshmeofts were seized. This is the ftrst time the Huntley Police have beld a social function. Tho Mayor and Mrs. Donald Enstrom were honored guests.

Regular Meeting
Minutes
The Regular Meeting of tbe Vil¬ lage Boand of Trustees was held on tfae second Thursday of January, January 8, 1976, this being due to the New Year's holiday f^ng on the first Thursdiay. It was held in the Board Room of the VUlage HaU and came to order at 8:00 p.m.
The ncJl noted the following: Prefi- ident Enstrom, Trustees Ackman, Mant>inp. Swanson, Lohneis, Stroupe and Eisenmenger, as well as Police Chief Dziewior, Percy Swanson, Ran¬ dy Woodman, Village Engineer and Village Attomey Caldwell present: Tnistee Franic, absent.
The minutes of the rwevious meet¬ ing, December 4th. 1975. were pre¬ sented to the Board, ajid there be¬ ing no additions nor corrections, thev stood approved as read.
The bills for December, 1975 were examined by the Board, as per at¬ tached llvting. A motion was made by Trustee Lohneis, seconded bv Trustee Ackman, to approve all bills on this listing and upon roll call, all trustees vot^d aye and tho motion carried.
The Ti'easurer's Report and Fi¬ nancial Report for December and November, respectively were re¬ viewed. Trustee Stroupe made a mo¬ tion to approve of the Treasurer'.'; Report subject to the Clerk clarify¬ ing whether the Treasurer's bal¬ ance of $35,713.51 in he Waterworks Fund or the Auditor's balance of the same fund of $17,200.00 Ls cor¬ rect. There Is an $18,000 difference and the Clerk vfa& to report at next meeting. This motion wns seconded by Trustee Ackman. Upon roU call, all members voted aye and tho motion carried.
In connection with the review of the bills, it was noted and dis¬ cussed that the Village should not be subject to any sales tax on the pur chase of gasoline from the local filling sUition. Tho Clerk was in¬ structed to delete this amount from any and all billing.
The Motor Fuel Tax Allotment for Novpjnber, 1975 was S:-,546.8I and the Municipal Tax for Septem¬ ber amounted to $7,423.86.
Presidftnt Enstrom then tumed the meeting to Village Engineer Randy Woodman, wiw gave a detailed ac¬ count of the Sewer and Water Grant. He presented th Supplemental Step I, II, and III Starts Grant Offer and General Conditions in relaUoo to this offer from the State of Illinois, Illinois Environmental Protection A- gency. C Conley and Little America Win Twips At Vagabond

The win¬ ning mei-diant was Little America, -who also received a week end for two. Later that e>vendng, the cerfci- ficiites were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Rowling of LitUo America and Mr, Conley and his fiance. A honey moon trip is planned for later this \eav.
