These races wore similar, four donkeys were lined up at 2nd base and tho four riders had to ride ihpm to home plate and pick up cither an ash tray or a bottle. All of the players on both teams had several opportunities to bat and attempt to ride one of the bucking, baserunning mourtts and to play se\eral positions in the field. There were many amusing sights besides the obvious ones of people getting thrown off. It was CONTINUED ON PAGE SIX

A near record crowd attended the Huntley American Legion dance last Saturday, July 13. This particular dance was especially nice and the decor showed that someone had put a lot of time aad effort in the preparation of the hall. The walls, which had recent¬ ly has been redone with Venetian blinds and a new paint job, were decorated with pink £knd blue spot¬ lights which were turned away from the center of the dance floor giving an indirect soft lighting ef¬ fect for dancing.

Notes
The School Board of Huntley Consolidated School met Friday, July 12. 1963, at 7 P.M. for tts regular monthly meeting with all members present except Wayne Zimmerman.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
It was decided that in the future graduates will pay for renting their own caps cuid gounds. This is consistent with the practice of other schools in our dirtrict. With the increasing size of our grad¬ uating classes, this cost could be¬ come prrtiibitive.
