A homecoming celiebtation for Huntley eoUege students is being planned fM* Sunday, December 26 by the three Hnntley churches. This festival will be held at the Social HaU of Uie United Chunsh of Christ. Hosts will be the Rev. Father L. D. Day of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, fthe Bev. Mr. Fredaifek Harms of Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Rev. Mr. Lawrence Perkins of the Uni¬ ted Church of Christ. As in years past the Huntley Farmside will again publish a resume of the events of importance whidi   happened   in  1965.
One year ago this week Huntley celebrated Christmas, the ground was covered with snow much heav¬ ier than it is this year and the Huntley Jayceos wound up (heir Christmas tree sales, which were held in the village park. Santa had oome to town a few weeks before, riding on a fire engine.
McHenry county chief deputy sheriff, reported that McHenry county was very quiet over the Chrisbnas holidays. There were no traffic fatalities, no roM>eries, not even thie usual holiday family fights over the 24-hour Christmas holiday. Although the roads were slippery there were *^ly ntitwr accidents and mino^Mii ported.

The United Church of Onist Congregational h^d their annusl meeting (113th>t^,in the chureh's Social Hall wit% Wayne Zimmer¬ man acting as maderator. A UmOy style potluck dinner.^was served and officers for Oie eioniinf^ yeer Were elected.
A fire was reported on Satur¬ day, Jan. 9, at the Peter Hardt residence. The blaze, in an ovm^ stuffed chair was quickly extii«- uished by Uie Huntly firemen.
Hbward Rutii, Richard Enatrofn, Floyd Schmuck, Herbert Eggers, Harold Keck, and AI Boncosky filed petitions with Rlch&rd Enstrom as Party of Grafton ccMning towneii^
