Don Tessmer. John and Jim MattinRly were in charge of his event and ret)orted that 20 teams were en¬ tered in com[)elition for lhr(\> trophies awarded after the final fights on Sunda\'. Ihe Huni- ley American Legion held its 3 rd annual carnival. Mr. Bob Eck¬ man w-as in charge of this c\'(>nt and was assisted by Mr. Stanley Koch and their wives. Originally, there were 52 entries in the parade However, due to the inclement w-eather and the shortness of time for preparation, only a portion of theis number were present. According to Mr. Echman, he onlj recei\en his assignment to lake over this pioject on .Mondas of last week. Mr. George Willis acted as mas¬ ter of ceremonies on the re\ low¬ ing stand which was placed dirt-cl- ly accross from the State Bank of Huntley on the park side.
