Of The Year?
At r2;2."i. Good Friday, Ajiril 20, the electric lights in the business section of Hunlley went out due to a breakage in on<- of the ix)wei' lines af the corner of Woodstock and Main Street in frcinl of the Huntley Farmside Office. The breakage in the line was caused by a thin strip of copper wire which it is crossed to the high lines. When the line broke a loud
bang was heard: much the same as a gun shot. Patrolman Andy Sychowski, of the Huntley Police Department, came in a matter of minutes to investigate the noise and set up barricades and flares around tho immediate area of the fallen line. The Public Service Company spliced the lines and at 1:05 power was restored to fhe business section.
