Parsonage Dedication
The United Church of Christ Congregational held dedication services ior their new Parsonage at 209 -V. Churc^kft on Sunday .Nov. 11 at 3 p.iHtKie new Par- .sonagc is a brick and frame colo¬ nial structure. The house has four bedrooms and 1 Vi baths on the second floor. The main floor of the house is composed of a family room, kitchen, dining room, study and utility roon^JThe basement will be made i(^Ur a recreation room which will^^used both by Rev, Perkins and his family and groups from the church.
The d("dication sonice was held in the living room. The order of the program was as follows;
The singing of the Doxology, the Call to Worship by Rev, Lawrence Porkins Pastoi". The Invocation by Deacon Arthur Garlieb. Reading of the Scriptures followed by Deacon Helmuth Thurow Deacon Charles Lazansky Deacon John Rugh.
The Prayer of Dedication was given by Deacon Albert Roncosky.

There were a few words from the Huilder, Mr. Zimmerman and the Building Committee Chairman Mr. CThester Scott. Then followed the acceptance by the Board of Trustees and the Ac¬
ceptance by the Pastor.
The Rev. Mr. John Queen As- s(K.-iate Superintendent of the Illi¬ nois Conference of Congregational Churches then gave an address.
Hymn, Blest be the tie that binds, was sung by the congrega¬ tion.
School Health Notes
Don't forget the T,B. Testing Service for all sch(X)l children on Wednesday. November 21. 1962. Permit slips will be sent home this week to all giades except First Grade, and Ihe Freshman and Sen¬ ior classes which were tested last week. If you do not receive a per¬ mit for your child, and you desire testing, please call the school. If First Graders, Freshman, or Sen¬ iors missed the first test they may also be tested on November 21. The test is harmless and painless and is given to determine if your child has T.B. germs in his body.
Adults may also avail themsel¬ ves of the testing if they so desire or they may go to the X-ray Serv¬ ice Unit in Woodstock. Illinoi.s.
Fire Near Gilberts Monday Morning
The Huntley firemen were railed out to the William .\shbiuigh farm >n (iulligiin road, the Gilberts black top early, Manda,v morning. A trailer belonKlng to Ralph Fleminf; 8600 Hl^gens Road, Park Ridg^e, HI., wks burning; and burnt to the ground. Mr. Glen MacDonald age .50 who was hired by the farm on'Oct. 20, was inside the trailer at the time and was pronounced dead by Kane County Coroner, at 5 a.m. Pictured above are the remains of the trailer.

The Huntley Community needs a library. The best defense any na¬ tion can have is an educated pub¬ lic. That means people who read. A library distric; is certainly the cheapest way to bo a well read person: So help your community by voting YES: on November 24th. YES for a Library District and a better community.

Beginners Band Concert
The Huntley ConsiLidated School Beginners' ?^ jfckis preparing for their first fc-Jp^ appearance on November 2^7 1%2, Wednesday evening, at 8:15 p.m., along with the 7th and 8th grades J\uiior Chorus, and Cadet BbTiO. '
The members of the fifth grade Beginners' Band are: Joanne La¬ mz,, Becky J?erkins, and Linda Koch, saxop^At; Dorothy Gray, Julie Plunke^W'anda Benda, tand Mike Rudolph, clarinetists; James Drafall, and Jerry Ketchmark, baritonists; Tom Svaboda, tubist; William Smith, T)ennis Strickland, Eddie Hernandez, Alejandro Issac and Paul Kudlack, cornetists; and Gaiy Bottcher, Alan Hafferkamp, and Bernard Scott, percussionists.
The Junior Chorus will open the concert and present six numbers; the Beginners Band will then play one numb)er; and the final portion of the program will be presented by the Cadet Band (they will per¬ form seven numbers).
There will be no admission char¬ ge for persons wishing to attend t he concert; however if members of the audience care to donate, a free¬ will offering bo.v will be present at the exit.
Slave Sale Last Friday November 9
Thirty-four slaves were auction¬ ed off last Friday evening, Nov. 9 at the annual F.F.A. Slave sale. The jobs these slaves did was vari¬ ed from raking leaves, to grinding feed, to cleaning sheds and gar¬ ages, to hauling manure. A list of .the slaves and the p>eople who bought them follows. R. Community Service Group
On Wednesday evening Nov. 7th the Hunt^^^> C>)mmunity Service Group m^^l the Legion Home. 9 members present representing the Home Bureau, Auxiliary, Vil¬ lage Board, and Mr. Wells. The judges for the Library Vote were named and ithe date is Saturday November 24th. Mr. Wells explain¬ ed about the assessed value and latter will be sent. iSJext meeting on Dec 5th at 8 p.m.

Night
The Dale Schwab family, former¬ ly of Huntley, was involved in a three car accident on the Dundee- Huntley blacktop last Saturday evening, Nov. 10. Nancy Schwab received head bruises and required three stitches in her right knee. C:heryl Schwab, one of the Sch¬ wab's 2 month old twins, was held for observation at Elgin Hospital.
Injuries in the first car were to Carl Young, 60, of Woodstjt)ck, who suffered a broken ankle and possible internal injuries. Esther Young, 59, his wife, recived scalp lacerations and whiplash injuries.
Injuries in the third car were to James Wilke, 17, of Dundee, who received face laceration and loss of teeth. Richard Van Attens, 19, of Carpentersville, a passenger in the Wilke vihicle, complained of chest and head pains.

The Senior Class of Huntley HI will present "The Unguided 'Miss" a comedy in 3 acts by William Davidson this Saturday November 17 at 8 P.M.
