LEAC II Needs More Donations To Fight Landfill
The landfill hearings are still going strong. Funds that have been raised are being used
up quickly. Donations, in any amount, would be greatly

Huntley Library To Offer Homebound Program
Library services to homebound residents of the Huntley Library District will be made available through an outreach network of volunteers organized by the Friends of the Huntley Library. Individuals unable to come to the Library due to illness or physical limitation of any
nature will be linked with a volunteer from the Friends organization who will visit twice monthly with books, magazines, or other library materials.
It is projected that library services to the homebound will begin in early November. At

New Blue Dot Shoe Store in town? Not!! Catty Corporation was the backdrop for a scene in the movie "Dennis the Menace" that will be at the theaters after Thanksgiving. The show biz trucks appeared by the railroad tracks to set up their props for filming in Huntley last week.
