Papa G's Parking Lot: George Kanakaris, owner, presented his time frame for the design and paving of the parking lot of his restaurant. The plans will be ready in two weeks with construction taking one to two months.
A question was raised about the fact that his last varation had an expiration date of May 1993. Mr. Kanakaris stated that the construction on his building took almost three years; this put the paving behind schedule. He has already received two continuances for the parking lot paving.
A question was asked about obtaining an entrance to the north
street, Kenneth. Mr. Kanakaris stated that he has received verbal
acceptance to run a driveway across a narrow strip of land owned by
Bakley Construction. This would help solve the heavy wear and tear
his parking area receives from heavy trucks who's drivers form a
major portion of his business.
