Village Board To Swear In New Trustees At May 13th Meeting -
There will be a meeting of the board members of the Village of Huntley on Thursday, May 13, 1993 at 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. 11704 Coral Street, Huntley, IL 60142.

Fun Run Winners Receive Certificates From PTO —
Last week. May 3-7, was Wellness Week at Huntley Elementary School. There were special programs and speakers all week long, and on Tuesday the annual Fun Run was held. There was a mini-walk for the five- and six-year-olds, and the older children competed in a two-mile run around Deicke
Park and the grade school. The Huntley PTO provided ice cream and juice for the athletes, and the PTO and the school cafeteria supplied caps, school bags, sun visors, watches, drinking cups, frisbees and games as prizes. It was a beautiful day and a fine time was had by all.
The cast of "The Music Man" presented by Huntley School District on May 7 & 8, are assembled onstage at the Huntley Grade School. The all-star production was an exciting experiencefor cast, crew, band and audience. Congratulations on a terrific show!
Park District Makes Plans At Regular Meeting.
President Knott called the regular meeting to order at 7pm on Wednesday, April 28, 1993. Present were Commis¬ sioners Knott, Yerke, Borchart and Wright. Also attending were Attorney Cowlin, Betsey Warrington, Paul Ostrander, William Awe and Clark Borhart.
Mr. Borchart made a motion to approve the March 24 minutes, seconded by Mr. Yerke. All voted aye and the motion carried.
A motion to accept the Treasurer's report was made by Mrs. Wright, seconded by Mr. Borchart. All ayes and the motion carried.
Mr. Tures entered the meeting as the bills for the month were presented. Mrs. Wright made a motion to pay all bills, seconded by Mr. Knott. All ayes and motion carried.
The request for park facility reservations were read. All but one were
approved.
Paul Ostrander's maintenance report included new budget, road improvement and a gazelle for sale.
Betsey Warrington reported on Huntley Expo, Miss Huntley, summer programs, swimming lessons, soccer, softball, pony league, instructional league, senior workshop, request for mini expo in park building in May and floor tarp rental or purchase.
The board thanked Betsey and the staff for planning and setting up our booth at the Huntley Expo. Good job! Also thanks to all who manned the booth.
Mr. Knott distributed and explained some of the computer programs he has set up. He has agreed to show the office help how these programs could be entered.
A motion to approve a resolution authorizing the filing of the annual budget
and appropriation ordinance was made by Mr. Borchart, seconded by Mr. Knott. All ayes and the motion carried.
Mrs. Wright made a motion to go into executive session, seconded by Mrs. Wright. All ayes and the motion carried.
A motion to accept the employee agreement was made by Mrs. Wright, seconded by Mr. Borchart. All ayes. Motion carried.
Many thanks were given to Mr. Knott and Mr. Borchart for their years of service and dedication to the Huntley Park, as they complete their terms on the board.
Mr. Knott moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Borchart. The meeting was adjourned at 8:50pm.
