Comprehensive Plan Presented
A Public Hearing was held December 13, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. for the purpose of hearing the proposed Compre¬ hensive Plan for the Village of Huntley.
President Dhamer brought the hearing to order with Trustees Wicke, Becker, Gow, Russ, Hoeft and Borowici present, as well as Attorney Kukla, Village Administrator Krauss and Village Engineer Schwegel. Attending from the public was approximately 30 people.
Mr. John Coste, Glenn Christensen and George Bates of Associated Management Services had contracted with
the village and proceeded to give a summary of the plan they were proposing. Mr. Christensen told the public his group had come up with a basic map of the area, soils map (series of 3), a topographic map, wetlands and flood plain map, existing land use map and a prelimi¬ nary land use plan. He advised the group that this was not in "concrete".
After questioned by the trustees and no questions from the public, the Public Hearing was concluded.

Clerk
Keep The Wreatli Red A Success
January 5th, the Huntley Redskins prevailed against the Greyhounds of St. Gregory in a non conference game.
To say this game was a thriller would be an under¬ statement. The Redskins tried to hold off a late surge by the Greyhounds only to tie 78-78 at the end of regula¬ tion, and sending the game
into overtime. In the over¬ time, the Redskins scored first, but the Greyhounds came back to tie once again. Now the game has become a game of free throws, or a least attempted free throws. Huntley finally went ahead on a free throw by Andy Cole leaving the score at 83-82, with 30 seconds left to playv The Greyhounds had severak
opportunities to win the game, but couldn't get the ball to drop for that last winning point. The Redskins won 83-82!!
High scorers were Scott Ravagnie with 25 points, Jason Faworski with 18 points, and Jacob Swanson with 15. Next game, Friday at Genoa-Kingston.
For the 8th year in a row, the Huntley Fire Protection District was able to keep all the red lights lit on the wreath at Station #1. There were no fires in the District due to Christmas decorations or lights.
The residents of the Huntley Fire Protection District are to be complimented on their commitment to fire safety. Now that the holiday season is over, the Fire District asks that all residents
continue this commitment to fire safety throughout the year. Make sure that all smoke detectors are working properly and have a family escape plan ready and practice this plan in case of a fire.
The Huntley Fire Protection District wishes all of the residents a happy and safe 1991.
Sincerely,
Dave Veath
Chief HFPD
