| Description | This 3-part interview includes the introduction, transcript, and audio file of Krista Widger Cebuhar, a 1980 graduate of Graham Hospital School of Nursing, who was interviewed for the School’s oral history project on 07/30/2007. Biographical Summary: Following in the footsteps of her namesake and great aunt, Ms. Cebuhar, reached her goal of becoming an RN and later a nurse practitioner. After working first a year on med/surg at Graham and then a year in a pediatrician’s office, she joined the OB Department for nine years. Later she worked in both community health and as a nurse practitioner, before completing a BSN and MSN. She is currently teaching health classes at Spoon River College. Interview Highlight: While favoring women’s health nursing throughout her career, Ms. Cebuhar also has an interest in legal nursing. She also shares stories involving pranks pulled on student nurses. |
