At 2:30 o'clock last Saturday after¬ noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. AVm. Tliey were escorted to this position by Dr. Gill Miller and Miss Mildred Miller, brother and sisler of Hie bride, wlio were uttendants dur¬ ing the ceremony.
Dr. J. W. Klint, pastor of Hie Kirst M. E. churcli, pronounced the words In a very beautiful and impressive manner, which united the lives of these young people, after which con¬ gratulatory greetings were generous¬ ly offered, evidencing friendship's good wLshes, brother and sisters love and parental trust and contidence.
The bride wore a traveling suit of sage green gebardine and the groom was ciLstumed tn the conventional black.
The home was tastefully decorated for the occasion, the colors of pink and wlilte governing throughout.
Afler the ceremony a splendidly prepared two course luncheon was served during which the selected colors were given appropriate obser¬ vance.
The guests present Included the members of the families of the con¬ tracting parties, and the Alpha Heta Club of girls of which the bride was a charter member. In the latter club were Included the husbands of the club members and their gentlemen friends. The only out of town guests not otherwise Included were Mes¬ dames George Godwin and Dr. B. S. Mitchell of Washington, Indiana.
The happy couple were recipients «t many useful and valuable presents, testifying tbe high degree of admira¬
tion and esteem In wlilch tliey  were held by their friends.
They started on their weddldg tour on the evening train, followed by an interested company of enthusiastic friends whose ardor was evidenced by uninterrupted showers of rice, old shoes ond other emblems of connu¬ bial felicitations.
Their generosity did uot forsake tbem at the station, but followed them aboard the train, and continued In the decoration of the car with nondescript placards and banners. In¬ dicative of their matrimonial dlstln- gulshment wllli a spicy variety of judicious admonition.
The honeymoon will include Omaha, Nebr., Des Moines, lowa and other western points They will be at home after Kebruary lOtli.
Miss Miller was born In I'ana but most of her life has been spent In Klora. She graduated from our pub¬ lic schools and took a three years course in the college of music In Cin¬ cinnati. She has been active and prominent in church work. Is an ac¬ compllslied musician and a universal favorite in society and with the people of  Klora where she is so well known.
Mr. Boyles Is a native of Clay City and lias only been a resident of Klora for a few lears. He was elected county judge last fall. Is a graduate of two law schools and is one among the brlgliest young attorneys in Southern Illinois with a promising future.
The matrlomnial career of this hap¬ py couple has started most auspic¬ iously. Their wedding day was par¬ ticularly brigiit and clear, bringing lliem the cheering assurance of legend and song. They liave the contidence and respect of a large host of friends who hope that the sentiment of theirs will lie each lo each.
