a. Framarx/Waxstar Corp: #06-26952-I-2 (Cook – Bloom)
Intervenor, Steger School District 194, originally filed with PTAB on 7-16-08. A
total of 150 days has been granted for submission of evidence with the latest
extension expiring on 2-18-09. Intervenor is requesting an additional 90 days to
complete evidence. Intervenor indicates that a stipulation has been counter
offered and is awaiting an answer from appellant.
Intervenor, Village of South Chicago Heights, originally filed with PTAB on 6-
23-08. A total of 120 days has been granted for submission of evidence with the
latest extension expiring on 2-15-09. Intervenor is requesting an addition 30 days
to prepare evidence.
b. Nalco Chemical: #07-02887-I-3 (DuPage)
Intervenor, Indian Prairie CUSD #204, originally filed with PTAB on 10-17-08.
A total of 90 days has been granted for submission of evidence with the latest
extension expiring on 2-11-09. Intervenor is requesting an additional 90 days to
file evidence. The request states that this complex is one of the School District's
largest taxpayers and is requesting in excess of $9.5 million in reduced
assessment. The request further states that there are pending 2005 and 2006
assessment appeals with PTAB and they are awaiting a hearing. A hearing date
of 4-28-09 has been set for the 2005 and 2006 appeals.
